It's me, Jay! Or, you may know me as Jeshamundi from Instagram! I'm a former artist trying to keep her art alive.

My Art

I'm a mostly digital artist who draws mostly equines. I have a horse in real life but she's a butthole (just kidding, I love her too but not enough to draw her... so what does that say about me?). Sometimes I draw not-horses, but they're hard and make me feel bad about myself so I usually don't post them lol. As you can tell from my gallery, DA was my first love, and I'm very happy to be back!

My Life

I work in communications for a non-profit organization that fights human trafficking, and I absolutely love what I do! I never got to fulfill my childhood dream of being an artist full time, but I do get to incorporate my art into work that I truly believe is important and worthwhile—and I have just enough time to post a little doodle every now and again!

I got married in 2019 and live in a tiny house on a tiny farm. We love it here! My horse, husband, and two kitties make this tiny home complete!

Hey friends, I need help! (Tablet recommendations)

So here's the stitch. I have a CTH470 Wacom Bamboo Capture Touch Tablet, and I have managed to lose my pen. I went to buy a replacement, but apparently, Wacom doesn't sell my model or replacement pens anymore. I can buy a replacement off of Ebay, but I'm wondering if it's time to update my tablet since the pens are so pricey anyway. I'm NOT buying a Cintiq (can't afford that nonsense lol), but I'm interested to know what all of my other artist friends are using and if the newer Wacom models are worth buying. I'm not sure why, but they seem strange and basic to me. Please share what you use and your recommendations, and also feel free to share
